What this is

Daily General Conference is a personal, non-commercial study app that shows one General Conference talk each day. The goal is a simple, contemplative daily study habit: one talk, read or listened to, with no feeds, recommendations, accounts, or tracking beyond what is stored locally in your own browser.

I listen to a General Conference talk each morning and wanted a way to include talks from recent Conferences as well as the most recent General Conference. At the same time, I didn't want to lose my place.

At some level it's AI slop, but I've learned a lot and was fun to build.

How it works

A deterministic schedule, generated once per conference season, maps each day to one talk. Every visitor sees the same talk on the same UTC day. Completion, streaks, and likes live only in your browser's localStorage — nothing is sent anywhere.

Privacy

There are no accounts, no analytics, no cookies, and no server-side storage of your activity. Talk content is served as static files. If you clear your browser storage, your local history here is cleared with it.
